Incase you are craving for that sinfully delicious cheese burst pizza but neither have the patience nor the energy to go through the entire ordeal then this serves as the best substitute. And well, since it is made of wheat flour and is more on the healthy side you could also indulge in some guilt free hogging unlike the cheese burst pizza.
This recipe is a very simple one and comes together pretty easily. Do give it a try and let me know.
Ingredients (1 cup is equivalent to 250 gm):
– Wheat flour 1.5 cups
– salt as per taste
– 2-3 tbsp oil
– Water as needed
– 2 medium sized onions
– 1-2 green chilli
– 3-4 cloves of finely chopped garlic
– handful of coriander leaves
– 1/2 tbsp red chilli flakes
– 1 tbsp oregano
– 1/4 tsp black pepper
– 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
– 3-4 tbsp mayo
– oil as needed to roast the parathas
Recipe ( prep time 15 min | total time taken per paratha 3 min):
1. So basically knead the dough of wheat, salt, oil and water just as you would for parathas. Then roll out medium thick sheets. Two separate sheets for one paratha.
2. Take a bowl and put finely chopped onions + green chilli + garlic + coriander leaves + chilli flakes + oregano + black pepper + salt + shredded mozerella cheese + mayo such that a rough paste can be formed.
Don’t add too much mayo or else sheets will get soggy. Mix everything. Ensure to make this mix after you have rolled out all the sheets for how many ever parathas you want to make. Don’t mix the filling and set aside as it will release moisture and then life will become hell.
3. So once you have the filling ready. Put one sheet. Spread the filling on the top. Cover with the second sheet and fold little and close the sides. Roll lightly to spread the filling to the edges of the paratha.
4. Then take a pan and roast like you would with a usual stuffed paratha. Put the flame on medium and roast with oil till paratha is done.
Enjoy your cheese burst parathas warm with tomato sauce.

I make cheese paratha but only add cheese and chat masala, this recipe is so much more interesting with all the other ingredients.

Thanks so much. The good thing about this paratha is that it doesn’t harden up when it cools down. Do try it out and let me know🙂.
